Due to challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to opt out of our longstanding concession agreement with the Washington State Parks.
This agreement provided us with the opportunity to operate Tillicum Excursion (formerly known as Tillicum Village). We are working closely with the Washington State Parks to assist in their search for a new partner interested in taking over the concession.
At this time, all Blake Island Excursions provided by Argosy Cruises have ended. This includes special events such as Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day etc. We hope to offer transportation for campers and others interested in exploring the island, and are still working out the details based on a potential new partner taking over the concession agreement.
Blake Island remains open to the public. The 1,127-acre marine camping park includes five miles of saltwater beach shoreline and is currently only accessible by private boat. To learn more about Blake Island, visit WA State Parks.
